Horseback & Mule Rides

Custom Horseback & Mule Riding in Professor Valley Custom horseback and mule riding in the desert splendor of Professor Valley on beautiful Highway 128. Riders cross creeks, ride along the Colorado River, and enjoy the feel of open range riding. Their standard half-day ride has guests in the saddle for two hours. Expect to be with them for at least two-and-a-half hours due to check-in, using the outhouse, listening to the safety orientation, and getting fitted to a horse. Once aboard, the ride lasts about two hours. Guests should bring their own water. They provide saddle bags for belongings, and they don’t allow backpacks (unless they are hydration systems), drones, selfie sticks, or alcoholic/carbonated beverages. Beginners are welcome! Children as young as 7 can join group rides if they can confidently sit in the saddle alone. They try to accommodate guests with special needs, but must be informed at the time of booking. They do not allow double riding and cannot take guests over 225 lbs (fully dressed), in respect to the health and endurance of their horses and mules.

Private and Solo Rides:

Inquire about availability. Departure times and duration are negotiable. All rides, whether private or group, are at a walk only. We no longer trot or canter the horses due to risk and liability concerns.

• $169 per person, for 2 or more people

• Two-hour private rides, $329 per person
